Diana Baruffa aka "Dee" is a Certified Kinesiologist and Strength & Conditioning coach with a wide range of experience, education and certifications. With a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and the winner of the Northern Powerlifting Classic, Dee's work with Grindhouse is completely science based. She believes in building fully functioning bodies that can withstand sports, injuries, or daily life.  Her philosophies are centered on mobility, stability, and strength. In addition, Dee dedicates her time to educating her clients; not just telling them what to do. Knowledge is power!

With a diverse background from playing and coaching collegiate softball and soccer to training elite athletes, amateur athletes and also special populations such as joint replacement, injury rehab, MS, diabetics, and heart patients. 

Dee believes everyone has an inner athlete and exercise is essential for everyone. Preparing the body for safe and efficient movement in all ranges of motion is the key to a happy, healthy life.

Naz Mirhadi

Personal Trainer


Naz was introduced to martial arts at an early age, and has been a fighter all her life. She is the World Kickboxing League Women's Super Middle Weight Champion and a present day fighter. She approaches her own training with patience and resolve and brings that same attitude to her clients.

Her methods include using all her fight camp conditioning tools to get her clients in the best shape of their life.

5 years ago Mikala was a smoker and felt unhealthy, depressed, and completely unfit. One day she looked in the mirror and didn't recognize the person staring back at her. Where had she gone? 
Today, she identifies as a strong, passionate person, with more drive, confidence and love in her life then she could have ever imagined. And it all started with sweat.
Mikala believes that what we do in the gym determines what we do out of the gym. Every time she broke through a physical goal, that confidence stayed with her. She started to hold her head higher, be less closed off and began to expect more from herself and others.
Her physical strength has been a reminder that her capabilities are endless. 
She will teach you how to move with ease, reduce pain, explore functionality in movement, strengthen, tone, and inspire others to do the same.
When you start to believe that you are capable of exceeding your perceived limits, of reaching your goals, you are telling yourself: I deserve this, I belong here, and I am, Worthy of Strength.
